The Skeleton of the Sentence

Review- The core meaning of any sentence is in a few key words.

The Skeleton:

Subject - Verb - Indirect object - Direct Object.

The subject and verb may be compound.
The sentence may not always have an indirect or direct object.

It is helpful to be able to pick out these elements in each sentence.
