Adverbs- Modifying Verbs

Adverbs give information that describes a verb, usually by telling the manner in which the action takes place. 
e.g. "How did Mrs. Smith go?" - "She went quickly."
An adverb describes a particular action of the verb to more precisely describe it.
A verb may be described by more than one adverb.
The word "not" can be considered a specific type of adverb which negates the action.

Hint: Adverbs can be located by asking "How (verb) ?"
