The second step of a sentence flow is to put the sentence skeleton on the main line.

Displaying Verbs

Now that you have found the verbs and divided the propositions, simply list the verbs near the center of your page, going down the page. Leave yourself enough space between the verbs to write the modifying words. As you become proficient with sentence flow, it will probably be advisable to do one whole proposition at a time. But for now, start with just the verbs until you really understand the process.

For example, the verbs from the John 3 passage would look like this:
